Finally, my book is published on Amazon! It was a long twenty-four hours waiting, but I'm excited by the end product. I don't think I did too bad on the cover--thank you, Blair, for your valuable advice on the software to use.

Eureka!

Yes, so I've done it. I've given myself a present, though far removed from my birthday. It's more like a half-birthday present. I don't do things like this. I'm very conservative, quiet, reserved. But, it's time. This desire has been burning within me for the past two years, and it's time that I got what I wanted! Though there's nothing instant about this gratification, I'm happy with my end product.

After shopping my book to various literary agents, I decided I'd try the e-publishing route. Of course I love my story--I was highly entertained while I wrote it. :) Writing it made me happier than I'd been for a long time. Just like reading, writing is an escape for me.
